For those kiddos who are learning how to produce the produce the k (or g) sound!
The /k/ can be a difficult sound to teach, since the sound is made back in the throat, so it is difficult to see/show.
Now you can just show your child the angry cat and demonstrate that the angry cat says “K!” with your sharp claws!
Included is a colored version you can show the kids and have up on the wall to reference with the kids. Or you can print and hand out to kids to take home and put up on the wall to remind them to practice!
No more cute, yet, mortifying moments when your kiddo shouts out “Titty Tat!” instead of Kitty Cat! Eek!
Print as many as you like and keep them on hand!
Thanks to Kristy Parr, SLP, for inspiring the vision for this Angry Cat and to Laura Janovick, who shared it with me 🙂
